Among the latest is one that recently opened at 795 E. Golf Road in Schaumburg. The proprietors tell Patch that when the restaurant opened to the public on Jan. 19, Guzman y Gomez sold more than 4,500 bowls and burritos on that first day. For some, it was nearly a two-hour wait, but the restaurant said it was able to get diners their orders in under four minutes.
